Coronation Street's Julie Hesmondhalgh (Hayley Cropper), Antony Cotton (Sean Tully) and Kym Marsh (Michelle Connor) have had their photos taken for Manchester Pride’s first celebrity photograph exhibition.
The Welcome To My World photographic exhibition will be on display at Selfridges Manchester department store from August 20 and will run during the Pride celebrations. Limited edition prints will be available to buy, with all profits donated to the Manchester Pride charity.

Considering Sean Tully is little more than a Corrie extra, he does good PR for himself, but usually it's always gay issues. No harm in that, don't get me wrong, but what is it about him?
ReplyDeleteI don't get it.
I'd say he's completely appropriate for Manchester Pride's Welcome To My World photo exhibition. Julie Hesmondhalgh too for the research and support she does for Transgender. It's Kym Marsh being involved that I don't get.
ReplyDeleteAnthony Cotton is not an 'extra' but a supporting role player, and has signed on for another year's contract.
ReplyDeleteHe recently represented Coronation Street in Toronto, along with Katherine Kelly, at the "British Isles Show".
I think it's absolutely appropriate for him to participate in the "Manchester Pride" photo exhibit.
As for Kym Marsh, maybe she was invited to appear. You don't have to be Gay to participate in the festival.
What is it about Anthony Cotton that some people don't like?
Of course you don't have to be gay to participate but it just seems like Kym Marsh's face is in *everything*. It's more a case of over exposure
ReplyDeletehence the reason I didn't use her photo on the blog post ;-))
