Antony Cotton (Sean Tully), Charlie Condou (Marcus Dent) and Amanda Barrie (Alma Baldwin) were among those from Coronation Street invited to No. 10 as David Cameron opened his doors to gay celebrities.
There's pictures and a full news article at the Daily Mail. The paper says that our new PM became the first Tory Prime Minister to reach out to the gay community. It still surprises me that in this day and age we need to acknowledge equal rights for anyone in such a grand way. It's just the way it should be. Whether you're white, black, christian, Muslim, female, male, heterosexual, homosexual, fat, thin. Discrimination is an ugly and hurtful thing.
