More trouble ahead for Gail in jail

It looks like Gail isn't in for an easy ride, as more details have emerged of Tracy Barlow's return plot in today's Sun.

Tracy is back to her devious antics, befriending Gail before turning on her in a bid for freedom. Gail confides in Tracy about the events of Joe's death, saying she hid a rolling pin in the wardrobe of the cottage to stop Joe making his apparently awful cottage pie. But Tracy flips it around and says Gail killed Joe with the rolling pin and hid it, in a desperate bid for freedom. Oh dear!

What do you make of this latest plot twist? Seems a little convenient to me, Gail hiding the rolling pin in such a bizarre place! And a shame Tracy is coming back with that evil streak, was hoping prison would have straightened her out a bit. Add your comments below.

  1. Wouldn't forensics find DNA evidence on the rolling pin?

Although maybe it's been used since to make pies!

  2. It sounds ludicrous. Who uses a rolling pin to make cottage pie?

  3. stupid storyline-they wouldnt let tracey do a deal after shes been convicted for murder 2 years ago-would never happen and as someone else said they would check for dna theres absolutely no evidence gail killed joe-it just getting silly now

  4. I cannot believe this one is true, must be a red herring. With the technology of today they could test for DNA, put that ultra violet thingie on that the CSIs do to see if there has been any evidence of human blood, not blood from a steak and kidney pie! That grin is irritating me already!!

  7. Agree, this and some of the other storylines are pretty daft. However it is a soap and if all characters and storylines were as one actually exxperiences them day to day, wouldn't the show be utterly boring. So yes, stupid, but also great watching.

  8. Joe's about to stage his own death, then decides to make a cottage pie in the meantime?

  9. Prison might strenghten some people but we would all have Trouble getting started. I mean, I understand what she says about Gail who killed Joe and hid it in a desperate bid for freedom, but Tracy will be having some rough dyas there.
