Corrie variety show at Thwaites Empire

There's going to be a one-off Coronation Street variety show at the Thwaites Empire in Blackburn on April 18. The show's to raise funds to give a five-year-old cancer sufferer a dream holiday. Little Madison Allan touched the hearts of the show’s team so much, favourite characters have agreed to perform in a variety show. It'll feature music, dance and comedy and the all-star line-up includes Shobna Gulati (Sunita), Malcolm Hebden (Norris), Sam Aston (Chesney), Peter Armitage (Bill), Debbie Rush (Anna), Ben Thompson (Ryan), Vicki Binns (Molly), Andy Whyment (Kirk) and Graeme Hawley (John).

Peter Shaw, Coronation Street's first assistant director was approached to produce the show by Shobna Gulati. He said: “Shobna came to me and told me about this little girl and of course I agreed to help out. I'm glad that we'll be able to do something that will allow her to go on a dream holiday. This is a chance to see Coronation Street stars like never before, and for £12 each, that's a bargain.” Get your tickets here and support this good cause.
