There's some lovely pictures from Liz Dawn's 70th birthday party posted by @itvcorrie to twitter.
Liz, who played Vera Duckworth, recently thanked the doctors for saving her life, as she suffers from the lung disease emphysema.
She told PA News that since leaving Coronation Street, she no longer has the stress of having to learn lines. She said: "The crew helped me - especially the cameramen. I used to have my lines on the Duckworths' table, lines in Roy's café, in the frying pan - lines all over, really. I think half of that was worrying about my breathing."
It's good to see her looking so well and clearly enjoying her birthday party. Have a look at more birthday pictures here.
Liz also celebrated her 70th birthday with a cruise on the Queen Mary 2. The Cunard staff prepared a special dinner on board, with the chefs cooking up a special surprise, by presenting her with a birthday cake in the shape of the Rovers Return. How lovely!
Read more about that here on the Cunard blog.
Happy birthday Liz, you utter legend! x
