As Flaming Nora told us the other day, Sue Cleaver is in one of six short plays called Marraiges Made in Heaven.
Today, there's a nice interview with Sue in the Manchester Evening News. She talks to Ian Wylie about her stage fright and about her relationship with her ex-husband who's playing her future husband in the play. It's going to make for some long days for Sue as she'll be working on Corrie during the day and appearing in the play at night.
Another interesting tidbit which is also Corrie related has to do with the play's director, Kay Patrick, who is the Granada staff member hit by a car on the Corrie set a few months ago. Fortunately, Kay is heading back to her day job at Corrie soon. Her play, part of JB Shorts 2, is going to be on at the Joshua Brooks pub in Princess Street from October 6 to 17 (though not on the 11th). Tickets are £5.
