Next Friday night on Coronation Street, Norris is going to interview yet another assistant to help in The Kabin.Having had no luck with Sheila Wheeler because she talked too much or with Joan, because she didn't talk enough, Norris decides he needs to interview someone else. And that's when Norris meets Horace and the similarities don't end with their ryhming names. Horace Steel turns out to be a very scary clone of Norris Cole!
Horace is played by actor Robert Maxfield, pictured. It says here that Robert has been in Corrie before as Maurice Pond in 2007. And his IMDB entry says he's also appeared in Corrie as "Julian" from 1986-2007 and as a pianist in 1987.

I think this storyline shows that it's Rita who works best with Norris, and that's why she'll return.

ReplyDeleteThe Kabin is just a dry goods/magazine, newspaper candy store! There's no perishables, no mess, etc....minimal "management" required. The Chinese, the Koreans, and the East Indians who run little candy stores the world over because of the simple "business model" have exactly ONE person behind the till. "Mom and Pop shoppe, get it?"
