Mrs Barbara Nice joins Coronation Street

The stand-up comedian behind the woman who is Mrs Barbara Nice will be appearing in Coronation Street. But why and who as? Who knows!

Actress Janice Connolly, aka Mrs Nice, was interviewed on the BBC Radio 4 Midweek programme and you can hear her talk about her role on Corrie and whether she'll marry Norris or not. Intriguing, I'm sure you'll agree.

    This is well overdue. Barbara is an absolute diamond and could have been made for the Street. Here's hoping she gets Norris's gland functioning and relieves his terminal tight-arsedness.
