Actor Geoffrey Hughes, who played the lovable and wonderful Eddie Yeats on Coronation Street, has been made Deputy Lord Lieutenant for the Isle of Wight. while on the ferry to the isle wight i spied jeff sat chatting to a lady friend. I was with my grand daughter who immediately wanted to go and speak to him ! so off she went and had her photo took with him and what a lovely man he is! my grand daughter only really knows him as Twiggy in the royal family so thank you Mr Hughes you made our day!
