In a Coronation Street spoiler about Jason and Tina buying No. 12, I wasn't sure who currently owned No. 12 or indeed where it was.
Our blogger Tvor has now done a wonderful job over at corrie.net and has updated details all of the places, houses and flats on the Street.
It's well worth a look.
Ta chuck. I just did a quick update to at least put in the current owners/locations though i do have to add on the Victoria Street flats and there's a flat over either the butcher or the kebab shop, or both. One is empty, one is Janice's.
ReplyDeleteIt's really great, very informative.
ReplyDeleteI think Granada have lost control of the flat situation. There are at least 3 flats over the Victoria Street flats: Janice's, Roy & Hayley's and one over the kebab shop where Martin Platt lived for a while. When Theresa came back causing trouble I don't know why they didn't put her & Darryl in it rather than the one over Dev's shop.
ReplyDeleteThere's also an empty one across the road next to the builders' yard where Charlie lived.
And the salon flat where Fiz & Maria used to live is empty too isn't it?
Doh! Victoria Street flats = Victoria Street shops
ReplyDeleteYes the salon flat is empty. There only ever used to be one flat over the betting shop, a pokey little one but after Todd and Sarah moved out, there seemed to be two. One was nicer and it's where Peter and Shelley lived as well as, later, Ciaran and i think Bev lived there for a bit too. I think the nicer one is where Peter and Simon live now which is the one next to the builder's yard. The pokey one seems to have been lost or absorbed into the bigger one now.
ReplyDeletePeter & Simon are in the original (pokey) one, that developed a 2nd bedroom sometime in its life (posibly to accommodate Bethany?). The door is to the right of the bookies.
ReplyDeleteThe 'new' one has its entrance round the corner, next to the yard on Victoria Street and has been empty since Charlie moved into no.6.
Right :) i'll make a note. I want to get that updated for the rest of the stuff.
