Jack Duckworth and Connie Rathbone continue getting cosy, despite what Tyrone might wish otherwise. And The Mirror reveals that Connie turns out to be a millionairess with a big house and loads of dosh. The paper says that Jack learns the truth about Connie when they go to her home to look for his missing pigeon. Jack's left stunned when Connie then asks him to move in with her.
Apparently, ITV chose the story to give a lighter workload to Bill Tarmey, who plays Jack, as he's struggling after two heart bypasses. Jack will be seen less on screen as he will be round at Connie's. The paper adds: "Bill will come and go as he feels able. We'd hate the idea of him quitting, so this explanation for his absence is just perfect."

I'm pleased he isn't leaving all together. This will work out for him and the show.
ReplyDeleteNext we'll need Terry to show up to see Jack living in this big luxury house!
Deborah, you're spot on. Terry would be great seeing Jack like that but then he'd try to ruin it.
