She said Storyliners and Script Editors make sure there is continuity within story arcs and because writers know the speech patterns and personalities of the characters, they can all write for ‘the voice’ of a particular character, meaning that there is consistency regardless of who has written each episode. I think the writing team are doing an excellent job!Martin Leayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15268270827409236641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7830446634490957159.post-58293397532159819872014-05-15T13:55:56.037+01:002014-05-15T13:55:56.037+01:00Thanks Martin, great interview and great insight i...Thanks Martin, great interview and great insight into how corrie is made. Am i right in thinking she said there is no continuity in corrie? I think the reason corrie gets it wrong is that is too much collaboration. Too many cooks etc. perhaps if the producer hire 2 or 3 storyliners they'd have a more balanced show. I dont know but something needs changing. For example: 'where's your oppo?' (old Brit slang for 'friend') came up not that long ago. I use sub-titles so these strike you more.Humpty Dumptynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7830446634490957159.post-77345956765203077282014-05-15T06:21:38.802+01:002014-05-15T06:21:38.802+01:00Hi Writers,
