However vile Tracy Barlow is, her best side comes out around Amy who at least has both parents, compared to Simon.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7830446634490957159.post-25791392547530716892015-07-20T21:49:03.912+01:002015-07-20T21:49:03.912+01:00For me the issue is not about the younger Tracy. Had that epilogue not occurred would the Street be a less irritating drama to watch? For me that is a yes. The more and more bland or irritating characters dominate the show, the less it is worth my time. They're sort of like Star Trek with Picard vs Kirk. It would be interesting to construct a chart of families according to their time on the Street. Let's hope the influence of Steve's side of the family and of Ken will help keep her Tracy like characteristics in check but don't ruin her spark, either. I don't often consciously think about Corrie this deeply, but it all makes sense.

Love the "what if Tracy never existed?" vein of thought. Amy seems to have escaped the Curse of the Corrie Kids. She's had some cracking lines and the young actress has a wonderfully droll delivery.
