Now I'm in my forties and have a lot of close friends in their twenties. Surely this is just the inter-generational mix that Humpty is calling for?
I do agree though that it would be nice to see Cobblestonenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7830446634490957159.post-42733314574140140182013-03-16T15:41:52.803+00:002013-03-16T15:41:52.803+00:00If you notice, he didn't know the words really...If you notice, he didn't know the words really. Not many people under 50 would even know that song let alone the words to it!Mr Badassnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7830446634490957159.post-20446795345860495632013-03-16T11:20:48.746+00:002013-03-16T11:20:48.746+00:00Well said. None of them ever go to school or if they do they get kicked out and come home with a different head. Their scripts could have been given to 40year olds and it would still have worked. They never seemed to go clubbing or go off for a wild weekend. Granted the writers have to find a way of keeping everyone on the Street and the easy way to do that is to give them a local job. It does seem that tptb are substituting history in which older/elderly people behaved that way after years of life experience which left them cynical (although, really, Hilda, for example, still put forward a happy face).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7830446634490957159.post-4471309507826582982013-03-15T21:18:16.049+00:002013-03-15T21:18:16.049+00:00Too true, Clinkers. The only fun we've seen is David kicking around the odd football with Max.
BevAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
