Jonathan Harvey interview: Corrie, Dusty and Manchester tart

Jonathan Harvey writes some of the funniest lines for Corrie and recently he has been heavily involved with the incredibly emotive Aidan Connor story, which has been handled really sensitively.

I have followed his career from his plays such as Canary and Beautiful Thing, his time on Corrie and his excellent novels which always provide me with a witty Summer read. A review of his latest novel is here by our blogger Ryan Oxley.

He is currently involved with the musical, Dusty, on writing duties and you end up thinking, how does he get the time?

Read more here, as we chat over a brew and a Manchester tart. And laugh along, as he mentions a priceless Mary Cole line, which still makes me giggle.
