3rd Assistant Director, Coronation Street, Manchester
This just in from ITV Jobs: As
we prepare to transition to 6 Episodes we have an exciting opportunity
for a 3rd AD to work as a key member of the Assistant Director team. Our
3rd ADs help ensure the smooth running of the shoot by providing an
efficient and effective support system to 1st Assistant Director at all
times
Our 3rd AD will be the main support keeping our 1st AD
informed on shoots through the 2nd AD of any changes or problems during
the day, you will accurately and promptly interpret instructions from
the 1st AD which may include organising cast and supporting artists and
vehicles in action and relay cues to artistes and crew.
Supporting
the 1st AD, you will also monitor artistes’ whereabouts when they are
not on set, liaising with runners to ensure they arrive for call time
promptly, coordinate and direct the supporting artistes and vehicles,
involving continuity of background action during shoot. You must have
the ability to deal professionally with people from all levels of ITV,
members of the public, guests or VIPS.
Our 3rd AD must have a
flexible approach to work and working hours able to work in a fast paced
pressurised work environment. Due to the nature of Production
occasional weekends and bank holiday working may be required, you must
be contactable outside of working hours and absolute confidentiality is
essential. Previous 3rd AD experience on a multi camera production is
desirable.
This is a fabulous opportunity to join our Coronation
Street Team. If you have the skills we need and extensive Production
experience, and a passion for Continuing Drama, apply now!
