I guess what happened to Kylie may have inspired Craig to be a cop?
I hope he does succeed as it will be a nice change from the usual
barmaid\factory worker job.
It's nice to see a character have ambition and frankly the only interesting storyline.

Why is Aiden randomly showing up at Maria's door to complain about Eva?? Why is Luke offering to buy flowers on behalf of broke, no-work, creepy loser Caz?? So contrived. What exactly happened to Chez if Gemma has sights on managing the kebab shop??

We've had stories about the cast going on holiday making things difficult, maybe too many writers go on holiday at once and the others just write away without any reference to what has been going on and stick in random scenes that make no sense whatsoever.

I suppose Aidan showing up randomly at Maria's is about as likely as Steve appearing at Leanne's door! But why do they always end up having a 'night of passion'? Can no-one have a chat and go home?!
All this 'showing up at the wrong door' reminds me of a classic episode of Frasier, which itself was a tribute to classic farce. Sadly, Corrie is nowhere near as funny.
