Meet new Coronation Street character Clayton

Gemma's going to get a visit from two of Callum's mates this week in Coronation Street, and it ain't going to be nice.

Macca, played by Gareth Berliner, will return. And a new character called Clayton, played by Callum Harrison, will also arrive.

Clayton arrives in Weatherfield with Macca and the pair demand free kebabs. When Chesney arrives  at the shop Macca and Clayton slink away and Gemma is relieved to see the back of them.

The scenes will be screened at 7.30pm on Friday, which will coincide with Callum’s 18th birthday - so he’ll be celebrating and watching with his family and friends.

Recalling the moment he discovered he had landed the role, Callum told the Manchester Evening News: “I was speechless. I was so excited because all my hard work had paid off. I’m a big fan of Coronation Street and so is my mum!”

I suppose these are the two that will be responsible for Kylie's death then?

Quite the name coincidence between actor and dreaded but dead character. Wouldn't it be nice if they all slid back to the dog n gun? Or will they be future dates for Bethany's toementors.

Nice! write the guy off, before he's even made an appearance. Nothing like a bit of positivity

If he's one of Gemma/Macca's scum pals, he deserves to be written off.

It's the character we're talking about, not the actor.

He's supposed to be unlikeable, that's the point, that's how the character is written.
It's called believability. It wouldn't make much sense to have Macca's mate all nicey nice now would it?
