Preview of tonight's double Corrie - Friday 20 May

Friday 20th May
CARLA FEARS FOR HER FUTURE WITH NICK In an effort to ensure Nick has a stress-free day, Carla suggests he puts his feet up and waits in for the surveyor. When he arrives, the surveyor’s incessant whistling soon gets on Nick’s nerves. He snaps and bundles the man out of the flat. When Robert finds Nick on Maxine’s bench, clearly stressed, Nick admits he’s not well enough to move to Devon and start again. Nick confesses to Carla how he completely lost it with the surveyor and doesn’t think it’s the right time to be moving away. Carla slams out frustrated. Tracy approaches Carla and spitefully reminds her that if she fails to keep her side of the bargain, she’ll blab to Nick. Johnny wonders what’s going on. Will Carla tell him Tracy’s been blackmailing her?
KEVIN ARRANGES A SUMMIT FOR IZZY AND ANNA Izzy apologises to Gary for letting him down and fills him in on her terrible day. Gary’s shocked. Anna moans to Kevin about how Izzy couldn’t be bothered to turn up to court. In an attempt to keep the peace, Kevin invites Anna, Gary and Izzy to join him and Sophie for dinner, hoping they can settle their differences.
JOHNNY TRIES TO FIGHT HIS FEELINGS FOR JENNY As Beth, Sean and Johnny proudly read the article about Jenny in the Gazette, Sally makes scathing remarks. Jenny flirts with Johnny in the factory kitchen and wonders if he’s thought any more about her promotion. Johnny calls Beth over and asks her to train Jenny up as a machinist. Sally’s furious. Jenny cajoles Johnny into agreeing to give her a one to one lesson in machining after the factory girls have gone home.

Friday 20th May
NICK’S TORN ABOUT MOVING Carla explains to Johnny that Tracy’s threatening to tell Nick about her night with Robert if they don’t stick to their plan and move. Johnny assures Carla that if Tracy tries to ruin her wedding, he’ll be down on her like a ton of bricks.  Carla does her best to persuade Nick that the move to Devon is still the right thing to do and suggests they could start a family. Nick’s torn. At Roy’s suggestion, Carla asks Johnny if he’d like to give her away at the wedding.  Johnny accepts, touched, and later corners Tracy outside No.1. Tracy’s shaken by what he says.
KEVIN’S DINNER GOES OFF THE BOIL After a lovely meal at No.13, Izzy drops the bombshell that she’s been charged with possession of cannabis and assaulting a police officer.  Anna’s horrified. When Anna tells Izzy she can’t believe she’s been so stupid, Izzy hits back. Anna, Gary and Kevin are stunned whilst Izzy regrets her harsh words. Gary sees Izzy home and suggests that he moves in with her so that he can help out with Jake. Will Izzy agree?
JENNY AND JOHNNY GET CLOSER Jenny meets up with Johnny after hours for her sewing lesson.  She flirts with him but when he tries to kiss her she pulls back pretending to be shocked.  Johnny’s mortified whilst Jenny’s quietly pleased with herself.
ELSEWHERE As Yasmeen busies herself getting quotes for a new conservatory, Zeedan’s concerned, realising she’s trying to keep herself busy to blot out Kal’s death. At Zeedan’s request, Leanne calls to see Yasmeen and talks to her about Kal’s death. Will the pair bond over their shared loss?

It's getting to the point now where I cannot wait for Carla to leave.

Likewise Jason. And such disappointing news this morning that Brooke Vincent has somehow managed to renew her contract. Yah boo!!

Too many storylines where the viewer has to suspend their disbelief: killing Callum/tell the police; Carla & Robert/tell Nick; Sarah's melt down/send her back to Milan; Bethany's bullying/send her back to Milan.
