Preview of tonight's Coronation Street - Weds 20 April

Wednesday 20th April
MICHELLE’S TORN BETWEEN TWO MEN Michelle appears looking a million dollars and sets off with Will to the wedding venue. Liz and Sean watch her go, concerned. As Michelle and Will admire the banqueting suite, Michelle admits she’s miserable and Steve can’t even be bothered to come home for her 40th birthday. Will confesses to Michelle he’s thinking of calling off the wedding as he still has feelings for her. Michelle’s taken aback. Liz tells Sean that Steve phoned and he’s planning to fly home and surprise Michelle on her birthday. Michelle finally admits that she has feelings for Will too. Then immediately regretting her admission, she dashes off
GARY AND ALYA GROW CLOSER Alya makes Sharif see that Gary only acted out of kindness towards Izzy and he would do the same for Yasmeen if he had to.  Sharif realises Alya’s right. He relents and tells Gary he’s happy to continue working with him so long as he conducts his other business well away from the gym.  When Dev explains that it was Alya who talked Sharif round, Gary’s touched. He thanks her for her kindness and it’s obvious they still have feelings for one another.
KATE RECEIVES A WORRYING PHONE CALL As Sophie, Kate and Johnny chat outside the factory, Kate’s phone rings.  Her face falls and Sophie and Johnny watch anxiously. Kate explains that Caz has been involved in an accident and they’re bringing her home.
ELSEWHERE Phelan puts pressure on Jason to submit a tender for the Freshcos project. Jason reckons it’s too big a job but then agrees to take a look.  Chris is bemused to discover Liz’s daughter-in-law is about to turn 40. Amy quickly covers for Liz but again uses it to her financial advantage. Todd tries to butter up Eileen hoping she’ll invite him to move back into No.11 but she refuses to take the bait.
