She's back next week on Coronation Street. Yes, Jenny Bradley is returning to the cobbles after she sends Rita a message via Facebook. Rita? Facebook? I know, it's a thing that'll happen next week too. Hang on to your hats.
Rita agrees to meet Jenny but, Inside Soap magazine tells us this week, their encounter turns bleak. As Jenny is still battling mental health problems, Rita realises that she can't leave Jenny to fend for herself.
Sally Ann Matthews, who plays Jenny, says that Jenny tells Rita she's fully recovered and that she's fallen on her feet, found a fantastic flat and a great life, but sadly that's not the truth."
What is genuine is Jenny's regret over little Jack and part of her reason of wanting to meet Rita is to sound her out about Kevin and whether he's ready to forgive her for what she did.
Rita finds out that Jenny's living in a hostel and insists she moves back in with her.
Could be interesting! I'm looking forward to Jenny being back again, are you?

Not really no . But that's no reflection on Sally Ann who is a fine actress. Good to see Rita getting a story , hope we have more , with Norris too.
A fine actress, good to see her back. It's good that they dip into the streets history, as a story thread. It will shake up Kevin & Anne's new found romance too - R.Oxley
There's Sophie to consider, too. She won't take kindly to her father reuniting with the woman she probably blames for Maddie's death. So it will be interesting to see how this story plays out. I'm guessing that Jenny will fail to entice Kevin back and Rita will find her somewhere decent to live. Strangely, Jenny's return might make allies of Sally and Anna.
I like Jenny Bradley...did not like the cold way she was dispensed with. Afterall the woman was still grieving her lost child. She needed help.
Is Sally Ann coming back as a regular or is it another guest stint?
No.
Way too many storylines! It's now at the ridiculous stage. Somebody at ITV rein in the horses.
I hadn't started watching Corrie yet when Jenny was on in earlier years. I'm not too keen on her now and find the character was manipulative as soon as she arrived back. Just being a link to the past isn't enough. The writers will have to make her more interesting to make me like her.
I would normally applaud the return of a previous character but when Jenny returned I didn't think the storyline was compelling or remotely interesting. Perhaps it was the way in which it was done. Whatever the case, I found it tiresome to watch. The only consolation in her re-return is that perhaps Rita gets a storyline. Hopefully, she takes charge and centre stage on this one.
