Friday 9th October
Note that Corrie is on at 6.45pm tonight and there is only one episode.

THE PLATTS ARE AT BREAKING POINT Kylie runs after Sarah and begs her not to go to the police. Sarah heads to work clearly stressed. Unable to suppress her fears, Sarah tells Michelle that she needs to go to the police station as she has information about the body they found in the canal. Kylie finds jittery Sarah in the police station and implores her not to report the murder.  Will a desperate Kylie be able to convince Sarah to keep quiet?
TYRONE'S BRAVADO MASKS A TANGLE OF FEAR When Kevin arrives in an upbeat mood and announces he's just landed another contract, Tyrone's worried, knowing he needs time off to be with Hope. Aware of the stress they're under, Sinead insists that Tyrone and Fiz go for a drink whilst she babysits.
CARLA'S FORCED TO COMPROMISE Carla, Aidan, Johnny and Kate discuss the factory over dinner in the bistro. Johnny confirms that he's on board with the factory on two conditions; that he's central to the running of the business and that they find a job for Kate. How will Carla respond?
ELSEWHERE As Roy and Ken set off for their classical concert, Cathy admits to Anna she's jealous of Ken. How will Cathy react when Anna explains Roy had intended to take her and only invited Ken out of pity.

Is there now more management than knicker stitchers at Underworld?

Anna, shut yer gob. Cathy, get a grip. Is Cathy going to start trying to isolate Roy from all his friends due to her insecurity?

And ditto to the Anna/Cathy comments here! I think I'm already feeling a bit put off Cathy. She's not earned her place in the street yet. I wonder what direction the writers will take this relationship in, in the end.

I'm also feeling put off by Cathy particurely her 'jealousy' over Roy going to a concert with Ken who is a good friend still in mourning. It's as though everything has to be about her and I also hope she's not going to start controlling Roy's life.
