Coronation Street has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Tutor to work on an
ad-hoc, freelance basis with children aged 5-16. The Tutor will be
licenced by their Local Education Authority and will be working with
children who are filming on a day they would normally be at school.
You
must have knowledge, experience and understanding of both Primary Key
Stages 1 & 2 curriculum in particular literacy and mathematical
development and Secondary Key Stages 3 & 4. We will look to you to
liaise with schools, LEAs and parents for the smooth running of the
child’s education and the effectiveness of the tutoring.
You
will be expected to keep detailed records of the content of work
achieved by each child and the times taken. Tuition is usually given
between 9am and 4.00pm, or during the permitted hours at the studio but
this will be flexible and some days can be cancelled or rescheduled at
short notice. You must able to commit to 5 days per week if needed, but
this is not guaranteed.
Experience of private tutoring in a television production environment would be beneficial and a full DBS check will be required.
ITV are looking for January 2016 start. If you have the experience they need, then apply now.
Closing date: 30th October 201. Full details at itvjobs.com
