Deirdre's funeral will take place on Monday night next week, 13th July.
ITV Coronation Street have released a trailer video for the funeral, which you can watch below.
Watching this very short video brought another lump to my throat and it seems that Monday night might be just as emotional as Wednesday night was this week when Deirdre passed away.
Deirdre's funeral has been written by scriptrwriter Damon Rochefort. You can read the interview with Damon Rochefort on writing out a legend from the show
