After recreating Faye's pregnancy Coronation Street scenes in Lego, we now bring you, by the magic of YouTube, another Coronation Street scene.
This time it's the scene when Andrea was on the roof the Rovers and the Lego Liz McDonald is a joy to behold.

This is really well done - maybe better than the original:) I can't begin to imagine how many hours of labour it took to make this! I also noticed that Lego only seems to make Caucasian figures, which makes for a strange case of cross racial casting when they have to play Lloyd or Dev. Looks like Corrie is a more diverse place than Legoland -
Thanks! Most lego people are yellow, I suppose this shows how everyone is equal, no matter what colour they're skin is :)
Wow, that's really interesting and something I didn't consider. I like your interpretation and think your work is genius! Are you willing to say more about how you do it?
Sure! So basically I really like corrie and lego so I decided to merge my interests and create a Lego set of coronation street so I can create my own mini vids out of Lego because I was really intrested in design as well. Originally I only had the front of the terraces when I started it three years ago and it wasn't that good but as time progressed I added backyards to the terraces and other buildings including the new houses, I'm currently working on streetcars/salon building and the Kabin then the whole street will be finished! I film it using a stop motion app on my iPod. I've got a massive collection of figures so creating the characters isn't hard. If I needed an interior set I would create it separately, borrowing accessories from other lego sets I have (usually these interiors are much larger than the exteriors!) and light them accordingly. Then once I have filmed it by taking photos and moving the figures a bit, I put them together on a
movie making app and that's it basically :)
So brilliant, Yeh its Jack! Thanks for the short synopsis of how your Corrie Lego scenes came about, and how you do them. It's amazing what fans do to further their enjoyment of their fave soap!
Thanks, Flaming Nora, for posting them here.
