Mikey North (Gary Windass) and Ian Puleston-Davies (Owen Armstrong) were interviewed on Ireland's Late Late Show on RTE last night.
They talked about the passing of Anne Kirkbride and then about their on-screen relationship. It's clear the two of them get on very well together as friends as well as castmates.
Ian talked openly about his OCD, which he says can destroy lives at its very worst. He was diagnosed with the condition in 1995 and says it can be very distressing and all-consuming, but that Mikey is his support and back-up while working on set.
Ian wrote a film script about the condition, which was BAFTA nominated, and "came out" about his condition on ITV's This Morning in front of Phil and Fern.
Mikey and Ian are taking part in a stage tour of Ireland. Check out details and dates here. They talked about the stage show and how it began in Canada where fans were given hotpot and a pint when they came in to the show! It's a Q&A format show, with lots of gossip from the cobbles revealed too!
