Oh, if only I lived in Manchester! What a great gig that would be!
I agree. An amazing gig and I'd LOVE to do it. Have wanted to be a tour guide for as long as I can remember - certainly as a youngster going around the caves at Hastings and Battle Abbey and other attractions that use tour guides so I went straight there to look (I *DO* live here in Manchester!) but it seems you have to have theatrical and/or creative experience and qualifications and thereby hangs a sorry tale because I don't, unless you count As You Like It at school around 40 odd years ago for a few days, and somehow I doubt that very much. Oh well never mind. At least I can go see it when it opens. Sadly won't be part of it, although I will write to them and ask if perhaps enthusiasm counts for anything. :)
Anyone else thinking of applying?
