Over the next few weeks, the ITV Coronation Street website is doing a daily Christmas countdown. They'll be showing classic clips of and teasers and trivia about Corrie Christmases.
Today, they've got a classic clip from Hilda Ogden's farewell party on Christmas Day 1987. For some reason, they haven't included her classic rendition of Gracie Fields' 'Wish Me Luck as You Wave Me Goodbye'.
So, I've found the episode on YouTube and here's a longer clip which includes Hilda's warbling.

Hmm...all the familiar faces, all gone now but Emily, Rita, Gail and all-80s- hair- and- glasses Deirdre.
