Coronation Street - autumn spoilers revealed

Coronation Street storylines for autumn have been revealed by TV Times and thanks go to Digital Spy for posting these.

First off, Peter Barlow and Carla Connor's relationship will be in a spot of trouble as they plan their wedding and Peter feels  lost and isolated.

Michelle Connor's dad Barry Connor will return.  I wonder why?

Tina McIntyre heads for arguments with Tracy Barlow and Rob Donovan, as she disapproves of their new second-hand shop.

And Hayley Cropper makes a 'bucket list' as her cancer storyline continues - getting back in touch with her son Christian will be among her wishes.

Why no Mammy Connor? She was fabulous - I liked both the actresses who played her. Surely one or other of them would be available?

Shiftless alkie "Peter feels lost and isolated"

The moral compass of The Street, "Tina McIntyre... disapproves of their new second-hand shop."

So, no real spoilers then...

Thank goodness this doesn't really give much away. So fed up with producer interviews promising 'explosive' storylines!- Micky

Not surprised Hayley would want to contact her son but really, it never should have happened in the first place.

I think I read that Liz McDonald comes back to Weatherfield because of a problem between Steve and Michelle. Maybe it's the same reason that Barry Connor turns up.

Great news about Barry Connor! I wonder if he has been brought in to replace Ken as the patriachal grandee of the street.
Obviously Barry is father of Michelle, and grandfather of Liam, but he also was surrogate father for Carla, and has ties with Maria. It would be interesting to see if he had any history with Rob, and if he develops bonds with Peter and Steve through Carla and Michelle.

Whether Helen, or even Tom Kerrigan will return, or are still around, remains to be seen!

Glad to see Peter and Carla in the spoilers. I love these characters and the actors.

I remember Barry Connor always liked Carla, while Helen hated her. Looking forward to his visit! Is he sticking around for long I wonder?

Sounds like there's going to be a lot happening for Steve and Michelle.

The head of the Connor clan as a strong alpha male should be good. NOT looking forward to any stories with Michelle and the gurning Steve though. And Tina the shrew "disapproves" so what, who is she anyway?

I agree with Rosie, it's possible that the void of street patriarch is being filled- if so, what a great choice. Looks like a lot of shake-ups all over Corrie. Wonder what kind of show it will be in 6 months?

Since we know Ryan is leaving it may be him who causes problems for Michelle, hence the need for her father to help. Drugs, DUI, arson, theft, sexual misdemeanor, take your pick.

Ahhh good call Janice. That makes sense to tie it in with Ryan's departure.

Already forgot about Ryan Connor. Also, where is daddy going to live? With Michelle and Steve and "Amy Whenever"? Wouldn't want to share that bathroom!

I'm sure it no coincidence Peter is bored with Carla at the same time Leanne is going to find out about Nick. Although I supposed with Peter its not so much if he will cheat but when and with whom.

Perhaps a problem with Ryan but also for the alleged Carla/Peter marriage? Makes sense that Mama Connor wouldn't come because she's never liked Carla.

Maybe Helen Connor as passed away, and Barry is coming to deliver the news.
