Corrie cast star in ITV's new greatest drama video

There's a good, new, promo video on the official Coronation Street website at itv.com/corrie

A whole host of soap actors including of course, some of the Corrie cast, recite Shakespeare's sonnet "Shall I compare thee to a Summer's day?"

My favourite bit is Barbara Knox as Rita reciting the line: "But thy eternal summer shall not fade" and the lines recited by both Jack P Shepherd as David and Julie Hesmondhalgh as Hayley are poignant too.

What's your favourite bit?

It's really nice, have a look at it here.

Edited: Thanks to our commenter who posted the link to YouTube for non-UK viewers and ITV have also sanctioned it.

There some nice camera angles that we don't normally get to see in the rush to get the regular series filmed. It would be nice to see the directors take some shots like this everyday

Not normally a fan of Michelle Keegan but she comes across well in this. Could see her in a Thomas Hardy TV adaptation.

It's very different. I like it. Barbara Knox's line is my favourite too.
