By pure coincidence, I'd already created this poll and was thinking of putting it up on the Coronation Street Blog next week but as David has written a wonderful post on Corrie returnees, I thought it would be apt to post the poll now. But not to overshadow David's post, comment on his post and vote on this one! For me, I'd love to see Billy Walker make a return. It does have potential: his relationship with Deirdre, his rivalry with Ken and then the fact that he tried to con Emily back in 1984. And the likes of Rita, Gail and Audrey would remember him, and don't forget Dennis.
It'd be brilliant - if just for a guest appearance!

If Natasha returned with Nicks baby that would cause upset with Leanne especially as she has no children of her own and the baby would be nicks . We saw her leave in a black cab - but she couldve been pregnant ;)
I would love to see Sian return and make up with Sophie.
I would like to see sian return and make up with sophie too. I would also want Becky Mcdonald to come back, so then her and Steve could give it another chance and maybe make things right for once. I think they're great together.
Suzie Birchall returning would have made for a great storyline for Gail. Especially now 30 years has passed, Suzie could have changed in so many ways since then which gives the writers free reign. Sad that Cheryl Murray has been forced to decline in the past due to ill health as it really would be wonderful.

Everyone expects me to vote for Hilda, but much as I loved her, I don't think she would fit into the Street these days. So I voted for Karen, to prevent Steve getting back with Michelle. The latter two had no chemistry, but Karen & Steve sizzled.
I also liked the idea of Suzie, but if not her, how about Gail's other friend, Tricia Hopkins? Gail could use a friend, she spends too much time with her mother, not healthy at her age! LOL!
I'd like to see Bill Ward return as a previously undiscussed twin brother who is totally the opposite of the way Charlie was.He gets along with people,is friendly and doesn't take advantage of women.He comes back because he wants to find out if Charlie really did abuse Tracy because he knew Charlie would never hit a woman (you say that like you're proud)They fall in love eventually and gives Tracy a little bit of class.

Well I dont agree with hoiking characters back as they have usually had their time and come to a natural end. Bet Lynch was a disaster last time so that would be out. Billy Walker would be interesting to see how he inter acted with Dreary as they were once engaged. NO way to drippy Sian returning. I would quite like Eddie Windass to return as he never quite seemed to fulfil his potential and I am sick of Anna with Owen the clod.
Oh yes! Eddie would be a welcome return! Loved him.
And Graeme was good too - a lot of good humour in his scenes. (as long as he doesn't bring that dreadful Xin with him)

Micky - Billy was in debt and when he learnt that Emily had received insurance money after Ernie's death, he blackmailed her to give him £6000 to keep quiet about the fact he knew of Deirdre's affair with Mike. Emily was about to pay but Mike saw him off and Billy left for Jersey.
I'd like to see Mavis Wilton come around for a short visit. I'm sure a nice comedic storyline could be developed for her & Rita.

Yes bring back Eddie W...a monumental mistake in letting him go in the first place. Love to see Danny back running the Faktry with Carla.....get rid of Michelle and Rob...two useless twits.
I would like Linda Cheveski to return, Dennis Tanner is seriously in need for a storyline and it would be good for his sister to return plus his nephews. Linda has never been referenced to since.
A second choice would be Eddie Windass. His axing was utterly ridiculous, considering some god awful characters are kept on. He has the potential to become a Corrie great, but now we have simpering Anna who isn't as good without her Eddie.
