There's a song about that sort of thing. If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with - and I think that's exactly what Leanne is doing. She's the love of Nick's life. Is he the love of hers?
I don't think so and it's got nothing to do with him "always" wanting to be a dad. Yes, I know you've all been hollering about the rewriting of that little piece of history. But maybe that's not why he said it. Here's what I think about it. Maybe he didn't really mean it literally. What do you think?

I think I'd have to agree with you. She IS on the rebound and Nick happens to be there - more than willing to be in her life.

Meh, she could do worse (and has). Why not? Have some fun, see where it goes...
It must be summer - the brown leather jacket is back on - the red coat worn in every scene for winter. I dont know why they broke up Peter and Leanne in the first place, there must have been plenty of mileage in stories for the little family instead of the unlikely pairing with Cruella de Ville.
As soon as the hints of Peter and Carla first emerged i thought things would end in Peter and Carla being a couple and Nick and Leanne getting back together....whether or not it will stay like that is anyone's guess.
