Someone should have smacked that little madam some time ago..if they don't change her now she'll end up another tracyluv..
She deserves a slap - she seriously has an attitude problem. I know she had a rough upbringing but she's just plain rude and arrogant.

There's quite a few characters in Corrie, young and old, that I'd like to swipe. Strange, isn't it, in our own lives we might abhor 'violence of any kind' and probably claim never to smack our own children. But give us the chance to land a soap character a 'virtual' slap and you can't hold us back. Guess the frustrations of real life have to find a safe outlet somewhere!
That Tina needs a flipping slap the way she speaks to people, why is still a cuckoo in Tyrone's nest anways? Mardy little Madam.
Think you're right Humpty, I don't condone violence but the Faye character has bothered me.
Ideally Anna would have spent more time talking to and trying to get to the bottom of Faye's acting out and darn right rudeness; not just making placating faces to Owen behind Faye's back.
It doesn't do a child any good to behave like that, she'll end up like possessive Kirsty!
Of course now this will be the vehicle that will put a rift between Owen and Anna, just like Faye wanted.
ooooh...you can bet Faye is going to be paying Owen back for that in spades!! She's an evil child!!
Faye deserves a slap, but Owen has no right to touch her, especially without Anna's permission. He is not her father or lawful stepfather or adopted father. He is the live in boyfriend and the adoption agency did not even know he had moved into the house or that Eddie had moved out. Fay came from a violent family so to hit her is going to make things worse. It is not the solution here. Anna and Owen need to sit her down and get to the bottom of what is wrong. She is jealous as she is not getting all the attention. Owen should not be so much in Anna's life while she is starting life off with an adopted child. It has made her emotionally unstable and she is hitting out at the thing he cares about most: his fish. He had no right to build a fish pond. The child should have had a safe place to play and when the shed collapsed he should have build a back garden or a safe, landscaped yard with a play area. He is as much an idiot as David and Kylie and Anna is a nut for having him take charge of her adopted daughter. Most domestic violence cases towards children take place in households were the mother lives alone with a child with a live in lover coming into the household. Corrie have this one spot on. He has no parental rights over the child and no right to hit her. He should have spoken to Anna and come up with a united form of punishment and correction that did not involve violence and allowed the child to both understand what was so wrong and to express her feelings of being unloved by Anna.
Fay may deserve a slap, but it is hardly constructive in this case and Owen has to leave as the child comes first.
No child deserves a slap. There are ways to discipline a child without being physically harmful.
The adoption agency did know that Eddie left and gave Anna the go ahead to keep Faye anyway.
Agree, Owen had no right to build a pond. He didn't own the property. He's a builder, he could have fixed the shed but he is also a bully and had to have his own way.
I agree with Tvor on this, and Anonymous' comment just above her. I can't believe people are condoning hitting a child. Yes, Faye is acting out badly, but Anna hasn't done much of anything to address her behaviour, and is giving Owen way too much freedom to do what he wants without discussing it with her.
Didn't Owen buy the house and Anna now rents from him? A dicey situation.
