'Scuse me, but wouldn't you have talked about all this before you bought the frock? They've been on a boat together for months. I can't believe the topic has never come up. But you know, Michelle isn't always the most clued-in and I would venture to guess that she assumed he'd want kids and he assumed she wouldn't want more now her son Ryan is all grown up. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
In the meantime, though, I have to say I do like her dress!

I don't love the dress, but Michelle Collins carries it off well and it look good on her.
Although Corrie's writers will make it sound plausible, I think on the surface that sounds quite an improbable reason for calling off the wedding. The writers must be running out of ideas for all the weddings that haven't, or almost haven't happened.
I agree the dress looks lovely on her, but a reasonable storyline would probably be Ciaran being killed or something like that after they get married rather than the writers making up a feeble excuse for another corrie wedding being called off!
Ciaran is killed on his wedding day by a demented Carla aiming for Peter...No??
Sounds better than her being jilted at the altar because he doesn't want more kids.
Or maybe it'll be another heart attack.
I think she looks like a tart, but that's Michelle Connor all over. I can't believe she'd want more kids - not exactly a dab hand with that son of hers [or that kid that was switched for that son of hers]. Maybe she can run around with her allsorts hanging out in front of Ciaran's friends, since it seemed like a good idea in front of her son's friends and some randy builder lurking outside her window. She's a pointless tramp who'll probably end up with Peter, just to spite both Leanne and Carla. Then she can have a new kid without risking her waistline or pinching her toes in those insanely high soes.
Never mind the wedding, or non-wedding. How on earth do women think those heels are in any way good for anything other than the male gaze, as we used to say? They've become everyday shoes for many women, not just special occasions.
The dress is OK, I guess. In theory. The flowers are nice. Would look better on Julie.
The above poster says it all Michelle Connor is a pointless tramp, why bring her and Kieran back at all, just to kill him off. A character we could all happily do without her grating voice and her total vanity.
A wedding disaster. Wow that will be a first, after all the recent weddings all went swimmingly! Carla and Frank's, Leanne and Peter's. Then there was the farce of a wedding between the immigrant and Grahame. Nothing worth mentioning happened in Roy and Hayley's either. They were all quiet weddings so we need an exciting non traditional one - NOT!

She is coming back because she was only on Maternity leave and is still on contract, which people seem to find very difficult to get into their heads. Then if she never returned to visit anyone, then people will just moan about how unrealistic it is and so on.
Shame Ciaran is leaving and Michelle is staying...lol, agree about Michelle NOT being a dab hand at raising kids and after that long ship voyage they were on, odd the subject of her wanting more children didn't come up. They should have paid out Kym Marsh and had the cruise ship sink to the bottom of the ocean (after Ciaran got off at the last port)....that would have sorted out the excuse for her non-return.
