I'm a little behind, having just finished the 17th of June episode, but I have to say......Sophie irritates the hell out of me.
She quits her paying job so she can go and work unpaid for the "soup kitchen", telling her father that it's the christian thing to do and berating him for having all that money he won. She's quite happy to live free of charge on his money though, (I'm assuming she left school).
And now I read that she STEALS 20k (sorry, don't have a pound key), of his money!! How christian is that??
She needs to spend a few nights in a nasty old prison cell cowering in the corner with big Bertha leaning over her to teach her a bit of respect!! But being soapland it'll probably amount to little more than Sally heaving a sigh and saying "Oh Sophaaaay".
Hope that Maria doesn't get evicted (and what grounds? Although they've never been too concerned about tenants' rights before). Between getting treated like cr*p by Kylie and David and quitting the salon in a huff(and clear plot contrivance) and getting thrown out the flat for them, they've been bad news for her!

What happened to the Christian Sophie..is she going to turn to the 'dark side' like so many other characters or is this a lead in for Ken's grandson (yet another wolf in cheap clothing) to steal from Ken?
Oh bother, let's hope this doesn't play out as Sophie crying out for help again. She needs a beating, plain and simple. I hope this'll be the straw that breaks her a Sian up, their storylines are boring as dishwater.
