Why? Because, first of all, Corrie can't be seen to encourage illegal behaviour. If the wedding did happen, they would be found out, Graeme would be off to jail and Xin would be on a fast boat to China. Second of all, I think Graeme is too honest to go through with it. And thirdly, I predict that Xin will get a legitimate job at the last minute, eliminating the reason for Graeme to marry her.
We know that Graeme and Tina are going to pretend to break up but will also break up for real. I expect that they will and Graeme will likely just move away or maybe go with Xin, having developed feelings for her.
What do you think? Good theory or rubbish?

Good theory, if Graeme was arrested Tina would also be arrested as she was obviously in on it, but she's not going anyway, I think Graeme will turn down Xin then leave Tina because she emotionally blackmailed him into it all
Does anyone else think that Xin's accent sounds like she was born in this country, rather than someone who has only been here for a couple of years.

Why doesn't Tina marry Xin? Civil partners have the right to stay in the same country as their spouse.

Was anybody else bothered by Xin & Kylie last night? They seemed awfully chummy. Xin sure didn't act the timid downcast foreigner with her.
This storyline is pathetic. No girl would hand over her boyfriend like that. Period. And if Xin is another schemer, oh joy, we certainly needed someone to fill the screen when Kylie, Becky & Tracy were unavailable. Plus, Tina, who used to have great street smarts, is having a massive personality fail. Fast forward!

Oh no, i think the David and Kylie thing is a laugh. David needs someone like her to lead him around by the nose, and someone just as bad as he is and it'll be a joy to see Gail in a knot all the time! LOL!
I think they might go through with it, they'll get caught, and Graeme will go to jail while Xin gets deported. Craig Gazey had said he'd like to return one day, so that would be a way to have him gone for a while, and he could make a reappearance if the actor/writers want him back, a la Tracy.
Or I think Graeme going to live with Claire is another good possibility too. Hopefully Xin gets deported either way - I'd hate Graeme to go off with her.
I'm one of the few who actually likes Tina and Graeme together, and I'm not enjoying that this incredibly unlikeable character is coming in between them right now.
Xin turned from a little timid mouse into a Grade 1 schemer that would match Kylie. Graeme needs the support of his pal Ashley right now don't you think? :( And some flipin girlfriend Tina's turned out to be.

well you know what i actually like xin and i want xin and greame to go off with each other, and tina to be less than satisfied with tommy.
but i guess that is too much of a happy ending and we all know that soaps and happy endings are like tracy and rita: complete opposites.
