It's been well over two months since No.13 Coronation Street was last lived in, before a fire tore through the home. Still, now the house is in the same exact state it was back then, boarded up and burnt out. I can't help but wonder how long it will remain like this? With the sole owner of the house now on the run in France, how will anyone be able to buy it, and on that note, the butchers too?
I have wondered if Claire will somehow legally hand it over to Becky and Steve from abroad (if the spoilers are true about them selling the Rovers). Or will the house and butcher shop be destined to stay empty for the foreseeable?

I am actually thinking that Sally might end up buying it - she'll have enough money if she gets half of - spoiler alert - Kev's lottery win. It would take things full circle as she and Kev used to live there.
Ah, that's a good though, I still think of it as the Webster house anyway xD
Perhaps it will be repossessed by the mortgage company, and then put up for auction? I'm guessing Claire hasn't got a direct debit for her monthly payments in France! It would mean that Steve and Becky could buy it on the cheap.
As for the butcher's - how advanced were negotiations with Claudia? It's possible that everything was done and dusted before Claire left.
Claudia dropped the idea of buying the butcher's fairly soon.
Maybe Dennis Tanner is going to buy it.
