Great news, Corrie fans! Rita Sullivan is coming back to the Street in March after actress Barbara Knox was away for a little while.The Sun reports today that not only will Rita return but she's going to get on the wrong side of Audrey when the two women battle for the charms of Lewis the escort. This storyline sounds good fun and as a Rita fan (she's my all-time favourite Corrie woman) I'm delighted that she'll be back on the Street soon.

Goody! Someone to give Audrey a bit of 'interference' ---or maybe even a full, fisticuff, female row on the stones of the Cobbles between these two! I love Rita, she's my favourite after Blanche. To me, Rita's the only reason the Norris character doesn't come off as creepy -- she brings out the comedic/funny side of the nosy Norris character better than anyone else!
I can't say I like the Rita fashions all the time, but I do love that Rita hair!
