Looking forward to seeing Mary again - she's a good character.
The return of Mary? Why not? Norris without Rita is just simply annoying. This time, let's make Mary insanely jealous and try and run over Norris with her RV (recreational vehicle)/camper van.
And I'd rather not see another baby scenario esp. between Steve and Becky -- too typical of a soap and too boring. How about instead a lighter, funnier conflict ---Becky not liking Steve's increasing porkiness (not to mention) his balding pate. And Steve's not liking Becky's heavy smoking, loud gum chewing. So they both make a bet of some kind to give up their vices --Steve and his chocolate centres and beer drinking, etc. , etc.--- of course, they both wind up not succeeding...
Glad to see the return of a light hearted character like Mary. What happened to all the shop "assistants"? I just wish they would get rid of Claire in 2010, every scene with her in it is totally pointless.
