Wanted: ITV Editor Coronation Street Online

News just in from the cobbles to the blog is that there’s a vacancy on the newly revamped Coronation Street official site for an editor.

The job blurb goes as follows: Reporting to the Senior Editor Soaps and Drama, this role is to help maintain, develop and deliver a rich and entertaining offering around Coronation Street. It requires a person with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, a quick thinker and do-er, whose passion for the web is infectious as it is successful, and who can create a variety of content and spot multiple opportunities to use it.

There’s full information on the ITV Jobs website and the closing date is April 13.

Thanks Danny, but I've, er, been there and done that and believe me, it's no place for a Coronation Street fan or indeed, anyone who enjoys the show. Even watching it is optional.
